Rototom Sunsplash was born more than 30 years ago.
What began as the almost utopian idea of a group of friends, the beautiful delusion of wanting to do things differently, has become over time much more than a music festival.
We were—and still are—ordinary people with a big dream: to create a space where people matter, where music, community, and respect set the rhythm. A great meeting of diverse cultures and people who, at their core, share the same thing: the search for a more conscious, free, and humane way to celebrate life.
A cultural experience that goes beyond a festival
Rototom Sunsplash is an extraordinary experience. For a few days, the festival transforms into a small, vibrant city, where reggae music coexists with dance, art, workshops, conferences, family spaces, and games designed for children.
